Independent Survey on Lithium Orotate Use
Help advance understanding of real-world lithium orotate supplementation
Purpose of This Study: We are conducting an independent, IRB-approved observational survey to better understand how adults in the United States use lithium orotate supplements in everyday practice.
The goal is to describe:
• Typical dose ranges
• Reasons for use
• Patterns of long-term use
• Self-reported experiences (positive, neutral, or negative)
This study does not evaluate specific brands and does not make claims about effectiveness.
Why This Study Is Being Done: Recent basic-science and translational research, including a 2025 Nature paper reporting associations between lithium deficiency and Alzheimer’s disease risk, has increased scientific interest in low-dose lithium exposure. At the same time, real-world human usage patterns for lithium orotate supplements remain largely undocumented.
This survey aims to help close that gap by collecting de-identified, descriptive data on how lithium orotate is currently used outside of clinical trials.
Who Can Participate: You may be eligible if you:
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Currently take lithium orotate, previously took lithium orotate, or are considering taking it
Participation is voluntary.
What Participation Involves

You may skip any question and may stop at any time.
Independence & Transparency: This study is:
